Sample Thermal Images

The images below are sample images taken from our thermal imaging surveys of properties.

		This image shows two roof dormer windows, both of which have missing insulation in their side walls.  Also of note is the open slot vent on the right hand dormer window.
		This image has identified heat loss issues in the building's eaves.
		This image reveals the poor insulation in the roof space, and the complete lack of insulation in the end brick wall.
		This image taken in a living room shows the wooden ceiling trusses and importantly the cold areas in the ceiling which indicate poor insulation.
		This image shows the air leakage from a poorly fitted skirting board. This wall is between a bedroom and a garage.
		This image has identified cold air infiltration inside and below the kitchen cupboard unit.
		This image is of a loft hatch which is an uninsulated piece of plywood. Clearly the heat loss through this hatch is higher compared to its surroundings.
		This image picks up an un- insulated area of the ceiling. Also the cool strip which runs between the roof and outer wall shows that there is thermal bridging.
